I loved flicking through my mum's copies of Vogue and Hello from a young age and watching her create her own clothes through her amazing dress making skills.

When I started my career I felt like I had no idea that I could take my passion and hobby to something with possibility.  I was learning about the magic of retail from one of the high street's best and I was hooked.  Various exciting roles and experiences followed including a Buyer for Harrods, Head of Innovation for Lyle & Scott and Head of Global Business for Gloverall.  In my twenty years of industry I set up retail businesses from scratch, developed new ranges and categories, took brands to new markets and established innovative working cultures into established, heritage brands.

I'm currently a Lecturer in Retail, specialising in the Future of Fashion at London College of Fashion where I'm focusing my research on the Future of Consumerism, Retail and the transformation of business.

In addition to my teaching and research, i work with a range of businesses advising them on retail development, new market approach, brand strategy and consumer insight.
