"Paris is always a Good Idea"
In February 2005 I took my first Eurostar to Paris to attend my first Premier Vision, the international fabric show held bi-annually in Paris. When I came out of Gare du Nord and jumped into a taxi I instantly fell in love. Nighttime in Paris has the most captivating magic about it and when I got to my hotel, overlooking Notre Dame cathedral and opened the quintessential shutters I couldn't believe the picture perfect view of a boat going down the Seine, the glittering cathedral to my right and an accordion buster playing just below me.
From that week on I've been back to Paris countless times with both work and with friends and loved ones. Over the years I've found some great places to explore which I wanted to share with you today. I enjoy staying in different neighbourhoods each time I visit and have really grown to love Montmarte, Bastille and Saint-Germain-des-Près. Whilst the shopping and sights are amazing in Paris, I whole heartedly suggest to walk and explore this city - it really is somewhere to experience on your feet at a slower pace. Enjoy 'My Paris'....
